I’m the sole editor here at DTiE, but outside of editing, I’m also a wife, a mom, an ultrasound tech, a lover of sourdough and plants and traveling, and many other things.

In 2022, on the down-ish slope of Covid, like many other healthcare workers, I was feeling the effects of pandemic burnout and wondering what comes next.

Rewind to 2018, I was a new mom just finishing her second rewatch of Bridgerton. And because a third rewatch in one week seemed excessive (says the chronic re-watcher of Heated Rivalry in 2026), I found myself deep down the rabbit reading hole after finding out my new favorite show was adapted from a book series.

Fast-forward to 2026, after years of “what comes next?” conversations with my husband, I’m three years into running my own editing business. After many editing courses and workshops, I’m now working with so many incredible authors across a range of subgenres, who I absolutely love. Many of whom have been working with me since the very beginning!

Dot The i Edit offer line editing, copy, editing, and proofreading, but my true love of editing comes from the relationships I’ve built over the last three years. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust each author places in me each time I get to work on one of their books.

Every year I make it a goal to complete a refresher course, a workshop, and/or read a book about editing or writing craft, in order to improve my editing skills and knowledge. I understand the dedication, both financially and mentally, that authors put into bringing their books to life. It’s my responsibility to provide the best service possible to those who are choosing me to be on their team.
